No voy a analizar canción por canción ni haré una reseña especializada del disco pues no sabría como hacerlo, solo diré algunas cosas muy puntuales: la voz de Beth cada vez es más desgarradora (y desgarrada XD) y en este disco te dan ganas de suicidarte con su sufrimiento, y la música, ooohhh la música…en verdad me costaría mucho decidirme entre este disco y el “In Rainbows” si me preguntan cual me gusta mas, el sonido es excesivamente fresco, oscuro, suicida…son ellos, lo sabemos por la voz, porque el disco lo dice en la carátula, porque así nos lo vendieron… pero ¿en verdad es Portishead? ¿O es algo así como un Portishead versión 2.0? En fin, que ya está el primer discazo del 2008 y creo que lo escucharé bastante en los próximos meses
PD: mención especial a “Ghosts I-IV” de NIN. Lo bueno es que lo que hace Trent Reznor no lo hace más nadie en el mundo, lo malo es que el sonido es demasiado característico de NIN(y eso que es un disco netamente instrumental) y una banda con 20 años de trayectoria puede tener un sonido característico, pero también puede cambiar sin modificar su esencia, que lo digan Radiohead y Portishead.
